Background
The University is a diverse and successful higher education institution set in the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury. The Department of Geographical and Life Sciences brings together long established interests in physical, environmental and life sciences. The Department offers joint and single honours programmes in science, and MPhil/PhD degrees by research as well as programmes in the geography field.

The Role
The Department is seeking to make an appointment in biology and invites applications from those who are willing to teach across a broad spectrum of the subject, but expertise in plant sciences is desirable. Applicants should possess a relevant higher degree or equivalent.

Requirements
The successful candidates will join a team of staff responsible for the delivery of undergraduate science programmes.
