Surfing is a great sport to get involved in and it can be quite thrilling. If you like heart pumping sports and the adrenaline rush that goes with it, then at some point in your life, you must definitely try surfing! It is challenging when you first start out, and it may take a while before you "catch" your first wave. But there's nothing impossible when your whole heart is in it!
Step 1 Start by lying on your stomach. Before you get used to surfing, you must first get used to lying on your board. First thing you do is paddle with your arms as you lay on your surfboard.
Step 2 is to familiarize your self with the waves. Feel them going under you and even around your body. Build up your confidence and wait for the right moment to move ahead. When you feel confident enough to get up on your board, slowly start to take off.
Step 3 is to catch the right moment as a wave starts to lift you up. Push thru the waves using your arms and apply the front crawl swimming technique. If you miss one wave, then try catching the next one.
Step 4 is to get ready to "catch" a wave by pushing harder in the water with your arms. As the wave lifts you, bring your hands onto the board by your ribs.
Step 5 is to push your body up onto the board with your hands and bringing your body up into position as the wave carries you. Balance your feet, approximately two feet apart, with one of them in front of the other. Which foot goes in front is up to you.
Step 6 is to keep your arms out. This is to achieve a balance when you first begin to steady yourself and surf a wave. Ride the wave and enjoy your day as a surfing dude!
When you surf, you usually have only board shorts on. Of course, when you get invited to more formal occasions (like a surfers ball or banquet), you just have to dress up a little. As a surfing enthusiast surfboard cufflinks are the best jewelry when you're already in your tux. There is no reason not to freely express your self on special occasions. It's always a plus to be unique! The surfboard cufflinks would definitely send a message to everyone that you are a hard-core surfing buff. With this cufflink, you can achieve a sporty yet elegant look.
